I've been setting a goal of 100 books a year, since 2015 and so far I've made it every year, without trouble. In 2017, I read 109 books. I finished early and would have easily broken 120 except because my stepmother's health issues, there wasn't much time to read over the holidays. My goals for this year were to make an effort to read more books in translation, more books with international, especially non-western, settings and authors, and to make more time for pleasure reading.
